The Company
  
Our client is a well-established contractor with a focus on the design, fabrication and installation of  structural steel, architectural metal and aluminium systems across major Construction projects within Australia.

The Role

Accountant, you will be supporting the Directors of the business and be responsible in Overseeing the business and administration processes including Taxes, Auditing, cost efficiency and profitability to help maintain and possibly improve the business movements.
  • Review current product cost and pricing structure, cash flow and funding model.
  • Prepare of all monthly financial statements including company taxes.
  • Preparation and submission of all taxation and compliance requirements, BAS and Tax returns.
  • Provide financial information, board reports and monthly financial reports.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and consolidated profit and loss reports.
  • Coordinate the efficient and timely execution of audit processes and tax compliance requirements.
  • Improve and enhance finance and accounting procedures through the design and implementation of standardised procedures.
Must haves:
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or finance-related discipline;
  • Construction Experience preferable
  • High attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Extensive experience managing finance teams, preparing and analysing reports and making improvements to relevant systems;
  • Ability to build and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders.
