Company 

A known Real Estate Developer specialising in new build construction in the large residential space seek a Construction Director to oversee the construction divisions. You will be responsible for a number of contracts across Melbourne's skyline.

The role:
  • Spearhead major projects for the business toward $150M +
  • Your primary responsibility will be to provide leadership and strategic direction, enable client satisfaction.
  • Ensure deliverance of quality across projects and teams
  • Manage costs, Risk management, WHSE, and contractor / sub contractor relations. 
  • company cover D&C commercial, mixed-use resi and Industrial projects, your main focus would be resi / large commerical.
  • Reporting directly to the General Manager
  • Melbourne projects
Must haves:
  • Previous experience as a Construction Manager,
  • You will hold and demonstrate solid business acumen
  • you will be an outside the box thinker with an attitude of getting the job done right, first time
  • at least 10 years minimum in senior positions.
  • Possess a Construction Management Degree, Building Diploma or similar qualification
  • Strong network and relationships across the building industry
  • Must have experience running projects from concept to completion
  • Strong leadership & delegation skills 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain good relationships with construction teams and clients
  • Ability to run projects to a tight schedule, including plans and specs.
  • Ensuring alignment for all projects by running to budget, time and safety.
