Outline duties:
  
Seeking a WHS Consultant with experience in the Construction, Minor Works or Facilities Maintenance sectors to work across a large critical site, promoting a positive (but sensible) approach to the health and safety functions.
  
Base Criteria:

• Must hold a certificate 4 or degree in OHS and minimum 5yrs experience in the construction minor works or facilities maintenance sectors
• Permit to work systems such as confined space, hot work, working at heights, hazardous materials (asbestos removal)
• HACCP - Advantage of having previously worked in a HACCP environment 
• High Voltage Systems safety awareness
• Construction industry experience and health / clinical facilities experience such as theatres, labs, or clean rooms
• Lead Toolbox talks and provide guidance and advice to the Construction and Facilities teams.
• Be up-to-date on current legislation and able to work to standards - ISO 4801 (AS/NZ standard)  / ISO 45001 (International standard) 
• Confident with applying and advising staff of codes of practice and updating of recent legislation awareness through staff bulletins. 
• Be able to engage and liaise with the wider safety team to address concerns
• Fair but firm approach and the ability to build strong relationships with Management, Trades, Stakeholders and Safety Regulators
