Control Systems Engineer – Warehouse Automation
Location: Melbourne | Full-Time | Permanent

With a strong pipeline of local projects, they’re now looking to appoint an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support both delivery and ongoing innovation.
The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and commissioning PLC and SCADA systems for warehouse automation equipment. Projects are typically fast-paced, involving close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and software teams.

The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and commissioning PLC and SCADA systems for warehouse automation equipment. Projects are typically fast-paced, involving close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and software teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and program Siemens-based PLC systems (TIA Portal) for automated material handling systems
- Support commissioning, testing, and onsite integration
- Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces and control logic for conveyors, sorters, and related equipment
- Provide technical support during installation and client handover
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams locally and internationally
- Electrical, Mechatronic or Automation Engineering degree
- 3–5+ years’ experience in automation / control systems engineering
- Strong Siemens PLC (TIA Portal) programming skills
- Experience with warehouse automation, conveyors, or intralogistics equipment highly regarded
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
