AustCorp Executive is partnering with an innovative WA-based technology manufacturer developing specialist electro-mechanical equipment that operates in challenging environments.
The role we are recruiting is for a Control Systems Engineer to take ownership of PLC controls and support the system through build, test and deployment. This is a hands-on controls role in a product/OEM setting. You’ll work closely with mechanical, electrical and software teams to develop and maintain a robust controls platform, with real influence over architecture, coding standards, testing and continuous improvement.

The Role
- Develop and maintain PLC software.
- Support controls architecture.
- Integrate controls with related subsystems (drives, sensors, safety circuits, networked devices).
- Conduct hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, testing, FAT/SAT support and commissioning.
- Produce clear engineering documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Automation (or similar).
- Strong PLC and programming experience.
- Exposure to SCADA/HMI platforms.
- robotics / mobile equipment / harsh-environment systems experience is well regarded.
- Australian working rights required.
