Outline Duties
- Manage, lead, and supervise court services staff, including clerks, security personnel, and other administrative roles
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of court hearings, trials, and other judicial proceedings.
- Ensure the safety and security of courtrooms, detainees, staff, and the public.
- Serve as a liaison between judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and other court-related entities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws
Skills and Attributes
- Experience ideally gained within an Australian Immigration Centre (On-shore / Off-shore), Australian Correctional Centre or Foreign Prison environment.
- Be able to pass an NPC and additional Background Checks
- Australian Drivers’ Licence.
- Excellent communicator, with fluent English language skills, providing clear and concise instructions and undertake internal and external stakeholder interface.
- Be able to engage fully with frontline staff (direct and external), undertake walk-rounds, provide strategic direction and head-office support and stakeholder engagement.
- Encouraging people development initiatives, diversity programmes, commitment to safe working practices and enhancing specialisms within the team.
