Customer Service Representative
Location: South West Brisbane, QLD (near Ipswich) Work Type: Full-time | Onsite
An established and highly regarded Australian manufacturing business is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its Brisbane-based team. Operating across the engineering and resources sectors in Australia and New Zealand, the organisation supports customers with high-quality products, technical expertise, and exceptional service. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where no two days are the same. You will be the first point of contact for customers and play a critical role in ensuring accurate order processing and effective delivery coordination.

About the Role
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where no two days are the same. You will be the first point of contact for customers and play a critical role in ensuring accurate order processing and effective delivery coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing customer orders and providing timely updates
- Answering inbound calls and responding to customer enquiries
- Preparing and issuing customer quotations
- Managing a high-volume shared inbox
- Updating and maintaining customer records in the CRM system
- Liaising closely with warehouse and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Customer Service operating hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Full-time shifts are 8 hours per day, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break (7.5 paid hours)
- The team operates on a rotating roster, offering early start/early finish and late start/late finish shifts to support team and individual needs
You are someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers and thrives in a busy, high-volume environment.
To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a customer service role
- Experience handling high call volumes
- Basic experience using CRM systems
- Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment (highly regarded)
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency (essential)
- Salary: Approximately $67,500 per annum, commensurate with relevant experience
