Customer Service/Inbound Sales Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Inbound Sales Specialist to join our clients team on a contract basis. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure exceptional customer service, rapid response to inquiries, and effective lead qualification and nurturing.

This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building systems and processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and enhance the performance of existing inbound sales processes and platforms.
  • Design and deploy an in-house inbound sales model leveraging AI and industry best practices.
  • Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer preferences and qualify leads.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product availability, locations, fees, and amenities.
  • Schedule appointments, tours, and events for the sales team.
  • Nurture leads through outbound follow-up and relationship-building.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine campaigns and generate demand.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure CRM data integrity.
  • Achieve sales conversion targets from enquiry through to tour and settlement.
  • Occasionally provide leave cover for sales professionals across locations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Essential Experience & Skills:
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally within retirement living, real estate, property, financial services, or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building rapport.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Desirable Background:
  • Experience in retirement living, aged care, residential real estate, high-value sales, or consumer goods.
  • Strong commercial insight and ability to leverage data and financial metrics.
Contract Details
  • Hourly Rate: $35 per hour
  • Initial Contract: Until late January 2025
  • Possible Extension: Yes, based on performance and business needs
  • Work Hours: Full-time contract hours apply; 38 hours a week
