The Role:
- Supplying quotes and customer service to clients where defects have been identified
- Maximise sales opportunities and conversion ratios with existing clients and delivery of quotes derived from field technician defects/ recommended repairs reporting.
- Maintaining end to end process, including initial client contact, quote initiation, and follow-up contact to close out
- Run reports and utilise software tools (e.g. Field One) to establish hand held derived recommended repairs & defects which require estimation
- Run reports to ensure quotes are being closed out in a timely manner
- Create estimations utilising hand held derived data and estimating tool, and where necessary liaise with appropriate technician and where necessary customer to clarify scope of work
- Be active in the tender market by responding to tenders by due date and meeting company protocols and standards
The Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years Experience in the Fire Industry (preferred).
- Customer Service/Administration Experience (mandatory) or experience in a similar Defects Estimator role
- Experience increasing customer base/market share through excellent customer service
- A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment (preferred)
- Some sales experience or proven sales history would be a benefit
- Excellent communication skills
- MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience
