About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Licensed Electrician to support the delivery of electrical works across various water infrastructure projects, including pump stations and control systems.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for electrical fit-offs, installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems both in-factory and onsite. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to ensure quality, safety, and compliance are achieved on every project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical works onsite and in-factory as per project schedules
  • Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
  • Carry out commissioning and pre-commissioning of systems
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices or casual staff when required
  • Assist mechanical technicians onsite as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation, test results, and handover records
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely project delivery
Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A current A Grade Electrician Licence (essential)
  • Experience in industrial or commercial electrical installations
  • Strong understanding of switchboard installation, fault finding, and system testing
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and design drawings
  • Knowledge of instrumentation (Flow/Level/Pressure), VSDs, and soft starters
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home as required

  • High-Risk Work Licences (e.g., EWP)
