Job description
Working directly for a growing Australia-Wide organisation that is looking to expand their Team in Darwin and are seeking a Working Fire / Elec Supervisor in Darwin to work hands-on and Supervise a Team of 6-8 Technicians working across multiple Defence sites.
Permanent Full-Time role, working Monday – Friday (40hrs per week + O/T), participate in an on-call roster (1 week a month – allowance provided for being on standby and any call outs are paid minimum 4hrs at 2x).
The role:
3x days on the road / tools and 2x days in the office completing small quotes, checking the Techs are scheduled for the following week and their paperwork is complete.
Provide Technical leadership and support, ensure work is completed safely, to a high quality and within legislations / Australian standards.
Engage with clients, provide quotes for minor project work, problem solve, identify areas for additional services / increased scope.
Work hands-on testing fire alarms, lighting, electrical panels, circuits, service / repair of DB’s, lighting, power points. Minor relocation of power points and new lighting install. Breakdowns and repairs - identify any power outage and rectify issue.

Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar role, leading Technicians
- Current NT “A” Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
- LVR / CPR & First Aid
- Australian Citizenship
- NT driver’s license
- Able to secure a Police Clearance
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and pass drug and alcohol screening
- Live local in Darwin or be willing to relocate
