Field Service Supervisor – Electrical | Intralogistics & Materials Handling

Location: Melbourne (Metro Focus) | Some Interstate Travel

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor with a strong electrical background to lead service delivery across installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced intralogistics and materials handling solutions.

This role is pivotal in overseeing subcontractors, supporting project delivery, and ensuring smooth integration of automation systems within high-performance environments such as FMCG, food manufacturing, 3PL, parcel/CEP, and freight distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors across installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide hands-on technical support in electrical works, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Act as the customer-facing lead for service delivery, ensuring a professional and solutions-focused approach.
  • Oversee project integration, working closely with the controls engineering team.
  • Support commissioning activities on Siemens S7-based automation systems (developed in Europe).
  • Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, bringing value and reliability to every project.
  • Ensure service delivery within project scope, timelines, and budgets.
Skills & Experience
  • Licensed A-Grade Electrician (Electrical Workers Licence required).
  • Strong background in industrial electrical service, ideally within automation, intralogistics, or materials handling.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience with subcontractors and service teams.
  • Exposure to Siemens S7 and automation/control systems highly regarded.
  • Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering high-value solutions.
