Electrical Supervisor - Day Shift
Location: West Melbourne - Major Food Manufacturer
Looking to step into a leadership role or take the next step in your electrical career? This is a great opportunity to join a major food manufacturer in a hands-on Electrical Supervisor position on a day shift roster.
We are open to experienced Senior Electricians or Leading Hands ready to move into a supervisory role, as well as established Electrical Supervisors.
The Role
Reporting to the Electrical & Controls Engineer, you will lead the site's electrical maintenance function, ensuring plant reliability, minimising downtime, and driving a strong safety and performance culture.

The Role
Reporting to the Electrical & Controls Engineer, you will lead the site's electrical maintenance function, ensuring plant reliability, minimising downtime, and driving a strong safety and performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of electricians and apprentices
- Plan and execute preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
- Act as the escalation point for complex electrical faults across PLCs, VSDs, motors, and instrumentation
- Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OH&S and LOTO procedures
- Utilise CMMS (SAP) for maintenance planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimise plant performance
- Trade qualified A-Grade Electrician
- Experience within FMCG, food, beverage, or manufacturing environments
- Strong PLC fault-finding skills (Allen Bradley / RSLogix or similar)
- Experience with drives, motors, and industrial automation systems
- Exposure to CMMS (SAP or similar)
- Proven ability to lead or step into leadership (Supervisor / Leading Hand / Senior Electrician)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to perform under pressure
