AustCorp Executive is partnering with a well-established, WA-based electrical contractor with a strong track record in delivering high-quality industrial electrical and automation solutions. With decades of industry presence and a reputation for safety, quality, and delivery, this business supports key infrastructure, mining, utilities, and automation projects across WA.
  
Due to increased demand and ongoing project wins, the company is growing its internal workshop team and recruiting an Electrical Switchboard and Control Panel Builder. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of custom-built LV switchboards, control panels, and modular MCCs for a range of industrial clients.
  
The Role
  • Build, wire, and test LV modular Motor Control Centres (MCCs), control panels, and switchboards.
  • Interpret schematic and GA drawings for accurate layout and assembly.
  • Perform control wiring, power wiring, and LV metering installations.
  • Assist with FAT and in-house QA inspections.
  • Participate in modular switchboard assembly.
The Requirements
  • WA A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Proven experience building industrial switchboards, control panels, or MCCs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret electrical drawings.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with PLC wiring, remote telemetry, or automation systems is advantageous.
  • Experience with Busbar cutting/bending and Elsteel systems is highly regarded.
