AustCorp Executive is working in partnership with a leading Energy and Resources company. The company specialises in delivering tailored production and maintenance services to support major projects across industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining and infrastructure.
  
The role we are recruiting for is an Estimator. This person will focus on pre-contract and tendering work for maintenance and shutdown projects in the Mining and Oil & Gas sector.

The Role

• Develop and implement cost estimation for maintenance and shutdown projects.
• Preparing detailed cost reports, covering people, materials, and consumables.
• Managing tender packages and ensuring budget adherence.
• Prepare project cost, schedule and scope to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project performance.
• Analyse project plans to forecast costs accurately.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and external stakeholders to ensure budget adherence.
• Mentor junior engineers in cost estimation practices.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost engineering or estimation.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in the energy and resources sector is advantageous.
