Your background will include:

• Building trade qualification with strong technical knowledge
• May consider qualifications in construction, finance, engineering etc. 
• 5+ years experience in planning & pricing / costing of tenders & RFQs
• Experience in relevant sector e.g. maintenance, refurbs, renovations, fit outs and makegoods
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Current and valid drivers license
• Great attitude, eagerness to learn or hit the ground running
• Strong communication and customer services skills
• Organisation and time management skills 
• Ability to work autonomously and be a team player

Role duties:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates
• Attend multiple client sites 
• Analyse drawings
• Produce accurate take-offs and pricing.
• Liaise with clients, architects, project managers, suppliers, operations support etc.
• Source and negotiate quotes from subcontractors
• Support on budgets, tender submissions, and variation estimates
• Ensure compliance with building codes, construction standards, and client specifications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes
