The Company:
Operating for 15 years+ and continuing to grow, this established organisation provides minor works, renovations, fit outs, makegoods and maintenance to commercial, retail, government and industrial properties. Project values are typically between $50k - $2 million.

The Role:
Seeking a junior Estimator with quoting or pricing experience and some hands on experience in the building sector to develop into a full fledged Estimator!

Estimate project costs including material, equipment and labour from site. Visit multiple sites daily and work remotely and from the office.

The Duties:

• Quote minor and larger building works
• Create a scope and a breakdown of job costs
• Assist with tendering
• Network with clients and maintain relationships
• Discuss project brief and scope with clients and provide recommendations

The Requirements:

• Qualified in building or trade background preferred e.g. carpentry, cabinet making, construction, quantity surveying etc.
• Building industry knowledge and experience
• Some experience quoting commercial renovation, fit outs and makegood projects preferred
• Must have a current and valid drivers license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Understand tender methodology
• Good problem solving, investigative and conflict resolution skills
