We’re working exclusively with a well-established engineering group that delivers end-to-end solutions across custom machinery, industrial maintenance, and general fabrication. With in-house machining, welding, and design capabilities, they’ve built a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging projects with precision and care.

As the business continues to grow, they’re now seeking a skilled Estimator to manage quoting, tendering and costing across a mix of custom builds, repair work, fabrication projects, and site-based services.

About the Role

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, RFQs and tenders for both workshop and site-based projects
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams to clarify scope and technical requirements
• Interpreting engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specs
• Supporting project managers and operations with scope breakdowns and pricing strategies
• Tracking variations and pricing changes throughout the job lifecycle
• Working on projects ranging from small custom builds to major machinery installations and maintenance programs

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience as an Estimator in engineering, fabrication, maintenance or machine building environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scope documents
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Great communication skills – you’ll liaise with both clients and internal trades teams
• A practical mindset – someone who understands how things are built, fixed and delivered on-site
• Experience using estimating or ERP software will be well regarded, but isn’t essential.
