About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Estimator with a strong background in water, wastewater, and pump station infrastructure. You'll work closely with the sales and engineering teams to develop competitive, accurate estimates for technically complex projects. This is a full-time role within a collaborative and high-performing estimating team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and site information.
  • Read and interpret P&ID and client drawings.
  • Source supplier pricing and estimate labour costs (internal and subcontracted).
  • Assist in design reviews and project handovers to ensure cost alignment.
  • Provide technical input to support hydraulic and mechanical queries.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-add solutions to help win bids.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating / project management of water & wastewater/pump station projects
  • Open to pump technicians looking to progress into estimating positions
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID and engineering drawings.
  • Strong understanding of pumps, hydraulics, and water infrastructure components.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Estimating, or Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential).
  • Current Driver’s License.
