The Role:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of Commercial Service Operations in their region (Mandurah to Cockburn). These services can include delivery of cleaning of offices, retail, commercial and public spaces, government facilities, fleet cleaning, waste removal, grounds and garden maintenance.
Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Services activities
- Ensure resources (equipment/supply/staff) required are available to complete contracts
- Responsible for the development and training of 10 Team Leaders
- Secure development outcomes for Employees
- Cover contracts from time to time - be hands on
- Build and manage relationships with commercial customers
- Review monthly financial reports
- Develop and maintain positive partnerships with key stakeholders
- Assist with submission of tenders/quotes
- Helping to generate new business in line with annual budget requirements
- Ensure correct performance management processes
- Provide leadership in ensuring health and well-being off all staff, contractors and members of the public.
- Ensure services are delivered to the satisfaction of clients
- Undertake regular quality assessments of all contracts
- No non-conformance within audits
- Positive customer feedback
- No loss of current contracts
The Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience supervising and managing staff
- Current WA Drivers Licence
- Satisfactory Police Clearance (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol assessment
- Tertiary qualification e.g. Diploma in Management or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office at an intermediate level
- Experience working within Australian Disability Enterprises will be highly regarded
The Work Conditions:
- Permanent full time role
- Mandurah based office
- 50% travel to client site locations with office based vehicle
