Facilities Manager

Job description

Seeking a Facility Manager / Facilities Officer / Maintenance Coordinator to be based in Melbourne CBD.

Responsible for the smooth delivery of building maintenance services and ensuring up-time for a data hall and corporate office for a Banking client.

Office based role, Monday – Friday (40hrs per week) in a permanent position. Some after hours/on call support also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for the tenancy
  • Engage vendors, manage contracts and performance
  • Perform hands on maintenance eg. light replacement, reset breakers etc
  • Conduct inspections
  • Reporting, invoicing, work orders and manage minor projects
  • Manage monthly power downs
  • Customer facing, based on the client site as the only Technical person on site
Skills and Experience Required: 
  • Prior FM experience, preferably with Electrical / Electrician in corporate office
  • Must have experience with data centre / critical environment
  • Familiar with infrastructure maintenance - UPS, generators, CRAC units, electrical systems
  • Comfortable with providing on-call support remotely or attending onsite
  • Background checks - police check, references and integrity check
