The Role

Austcorp are currently seeking strong and experienced Aged Care Manager to undertake the role of Facility Manager (may be clinical or non-clinical) for an NFP Aged Care Facility located in the beautiful Bathurst Region of NSW – approx. 2 hours drive from Sydney.
The facility is a medium sized home that provides all levels of care, including some dementia specific.

The role requires a strong leader to take the reigns and align the facility with the organisations goals and leading the facility through a period of development, to successfully meet its financial, material and human resources targets.
Previous experience in Aged Care Senior Leadership is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall operations of the facility
  • To mentor and provide strong leadership to the entire workforce
  • Develop continuous improvement plans alongside Regional Management and in-house Clinical Management
  • Human resources management alongside centralised HR team – team building and onboarding
  • Undertake personal and professional development your team
  • Finance and budget management
  • Continuous relationship building with the local community.

Role Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Aged Care as a Senior Manager / Consultant
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Process
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Understanding of ACFI processes
  • Strong understanding of working within budgetary requirements
