Field Service Technician – Mechanical / Hydraulic Equipment

You’ll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspections on a range of heavy mobile and lifting equipment used across transport and logistics industries. The work is varied, hands-on, and ideal for someone who enjoys field service and working independently.

What you’ll be doing

• Diagnose, service and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections
• Support customers on-site with breakdowns and equipment testing
• Ensure service documentation and reporting are completed accurately
• Maintain company service vehicle, tools, and equipment

What we’re looking for

• Trade qualification – Plant Mechanic, Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (essential)
• Experience in field service or heavy equipment maintenance (hydraulic experience highly regarded)
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
• Professional approach and excellent customer service
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally
