About the Role:

A market leading Cohuna based manufacturing business is seeking a Finance Manager to lead its financial operations and support strategic growth. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will oversee financial processes, lead the finance team, and ensure the financial health of the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in end-to-end financial management within a manufacturing or project-based environment, with a focus on cost management, cash flow, and departmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance team to deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Provide strategic input to support decision-making across departments.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain robust internal controls.
• Streamline and enhance financial processes, including ERP system management.
• Collaborate across teams to achieve sustainable financial outcomes.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ideal but not essential.
• 7-10 years of financial management experience, within an Australian manufacturing, FMCG or project-based environment. Please provide an overview of your experience in manufacturing, including the industries you have worked in. Please also mention KPI’s you would generally measure in the roles you have performed.
• Experience in end-to-end financial management, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in all areas of financial management, or a plan to close any gaps you have.
• Strong ERP system management skills, ideally with Epicor or mid-tier ERP systems. Please mention if you have used them across the full process lifecycle, or were you focused on specific functions within a larger platform?
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Proven leadership abilities with a hands-on, collaborative approach to guiding and developing a high-performing team. Please also outline your primary responsibilities in the senior management roles you have held. 
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial insights across all levels.
