The Role

This is a technical design position responsible for producing compliant, coordinated fire protection system designs across wet, dry and special hazard disciplines.
You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle, from early concept and CDC/CC submissions through to construction documentation and final handover.

Your day to day will include:

• Managing and producing fire system designs across sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, detection, EWIS and BOWS
• Developing schematic, detailed and construction drawings
• Completing hydraulic calculations and preparing detailed technical documentation
• Ensuring all designs align with NCC and relevant Australian Standards
• Conducting QA checks on fabrication sheets and installation drawings
• Managing documentation through platforms such as Procore or Aconex
• Attending coordination meetings with consultants, builders and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience producing compliant wet and/or dry fire drawings
• Strong understanding of NCC and key Australian Standards including AS2118, AS2419, AS1670 and AS1851
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally Revit, Bluebeam or Revizto
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Clear communication skills and confidence explaining technical constraints
