Base Criteria

Outline Duties
Drive and lead a Key Division to support their ongoing delivery of market-leading Facilities Management Services across Property Maintenance and Minor Repairs, providing daily operational as well as strategic interface and direction, whilst driving Stakeholder Engagement, Contract Development, Cultural Change and Asset Delivery strategies.
Knowledge and experience in managing the delivery of out-sourced, contractor or sub-contractor services across Minor Building Repairs, Glazing, Carpentry / Joinery, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing and General Handy Person duties to Public and Private sector clients, such as: - Defence; Health; Education; Financial Services; Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Corporate Office and Stadia; as well as State and Federal Government.

Skills and Attributes
- Trade or Technical qualification in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting or Bricklaying.
- Over 15 years industry experience, you will have gained at least 10+ years Senior Management experience within an organisation delivering Facilities or Property Maintenance Services (Carpentry, Painting, Bricklaying, Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC) to a mix of Corporate and Institutional clients across metropolitan and regional locations.
- Outstanding P&L skills, understanding client’s price-point motivators and areas of concern, while ensuring that the organisation’s financial and margin goals are achieved.
- Well-experienced in supporting Client’s Asset Management Delivery / Whole of Life strategies, ensuring staff provide the best advice on Maintenance, Repair and Replacement strategies and programmes.
- An excellent communicator, with strong English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions, management and strategic plans and undertake board-level client interface.
- An effective and engaging Internal and External Stakeholder relationship developer, ensuring you can win-over skeptics.
- Ability to comfortably lead a diverse workforce (frontline trades and managerial staff).
