They are seeking to add to their senior management team an experienced and well-connected Business Development Specialist to target the full spectrum of HVAC opportunities - from design and installations to ongoing maintenance, repairs and refit - across New Zealand, ensuring they offer the best possible solution to clients.
Base Criteria
Ideally holding an HVAC Trade Qualification or Mechanical Engineering degree along with over 15 years experience working within the HVAC Industry, and at least 5 years as a National Sales Manager / Head of Business Development ideally selling a range of HVAC solutions to Public, Private and Institutional clients.
Outline Duties
Driving the business development strategies and activities, sourcing new business leads, developing client relationships, securing EOI and ITT with key client organisations, along with strong networking skills.
You will be able to leverage off existing relationships within the Facilities Management; Property; Construction, Government and Architectural sectors in order to gain preferred partner status for upcoming Projects, Contracts or Upgrades.

Skills and Attributes
- Direct ownership, management and coordination of all aspects relating to the sourcing of new business opportunities, EOI Registration, Tender review, and existing client engagement and retention
- Formulate strategic plans with regards proposing the delivery of HVAC works that include Design, Build, Installation, Preventative and Reactive maintenance, Repairs and Refits.
- Hold strong B2B and B2C skillsets within the HVAC and Associated Industry sectors.
- Provide and manage regular reporting and correspondence with all stakeholders.
- Monitoring trends, analysis and prospecting where the market may diversify, expand or contract in order to best allocate time and resources.
- A senior business development / sales leader who can source, drive and deliver - not just service existing business!
