The Role:
This Health and Safety Manager is an individual contributor working with facilities management operators and management to deliver the HSE program in a facility management / building services environment.
FM Services provided on site are cleaning, catering, security, groundskeeping, technical maintenance (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), office relocations, fit-outs etc. across multiple sites. Sectors include healthcare, education, manufacturing, corporate offices, retail etc.
This is a hands-on position, where the successful candidate will:

The Role:
This Health and Safety Manager is an individual contributor working with facilities management operators and management to deliver the HSE program in a facility management / building services environment.
FM Services provided on site are cleaning, catering, security, groundskeeping, technical maintenance (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), office relocations, fit-outs etc. across multiple sites. Sectors include healthcare, education, manufacturing, corporate offices, retail etc.
This is a hands-on position, where the successful candidate will:
- Ensure HSE policies and processes are being implemented
- Conduct training, toolbox meetings etc
- Provide advice to senior leadership team in NZ and provide feedback and reporting to GM
- Prepare sites for ACC Audits
- Maintain the incident database
- Build up the existing safety capabilities
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in an all-round HSE role
- Experience within a services industry, manufacturing or healthcare environment with multiple sites is preferable
- Strong understanding of the safety legislation
- Knowledge of audit process (ACC, ISO etc)
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and responsibility for national health and safety requirements
- Implement improvements to existing processes
- Confident communicator to provide advice to the C-Suite, feedback to local and regional management teams, as well as being connected with operators on site.

- South Auckland office location
- Office based with some travel to site required
