Our client is a community orientated organisation seeking a Horticulture Supervisor to support grounds keeping operations around Perth metro and beyond.
About the Role:
A great opportunity to join a growing business, the role will operate across a wide region including Perth metro and regional locations, responsible for the delivery of planned / reactive grounds maintenance to clients in the Government, Education, Aged Care, Transport, Leisure and Corporate sectors.
Get involved with training the operational teams on the field, conduct site inspections and audits, speak with clients and do walkarounds, do your commercial reporting and budgeting, and still be willing to be another pair of hands when the team needs it.

About the Candidate:
- Qualification in Horticulture is essential
- Strong experience working within Open Space / Landscaping / Tree Lopping
- Experience in commercial grounds management, government e.g. Councils or Shires, Farming or similar industry background
- Experience supervising grounds people and labourers / trades
- Comfortable with regular travel around Perth and regional locations
- Polished presentation for client interaction
- Engage the team, motivate, train and develop as individuals and as a team
- Organisation skills to coordinate operations across metro and regional sites
- Familiar with grounds equipment, excavators etc.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to lead monthly meetings, reporting and reviews, subcontractor meetings, contract reviews etc.
- Participate in bids and tender proposals to secure more growth
- Good computer skills - using Word, Excel and custom database
