About the Role We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Sales Representative to join our high-performing team. In this role, you’ll be a key point of contact for both internal and external customers—providing technical sales support, processing orders and quotes, and working closely with external representatives to drive business growth.
This role will suit someone with strong communication and customer service skills, a solid understanding of sales processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be supported by a national team, including technical specialists and product experts, and will play an important part in our customer experience journey.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Source and qualify new business opportunities through research, inbound enquiries, and outbound activity
- Support external sales and technical teams with quoting, lead generation, and pipeline management
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships with proactive service and regular follow-up
- Manage quotes and monitor conversion rates, identifying areas for improvement
- Coordinate customer meetings, product discussions, and handovers with external representatives
- Promote the full product range in line with strategic objectives
- Accurately process sales orders, pricing, freight, and delivery instructions in line with company standards
- Respond to customer queries across phone, email, and internal platforms with professionalism and urgency
- Manage backorders, returns, credit applications, and customer agreements in a timely and compliant manner
- Ensure CRM and ERP systems are regularly updated with accurate data and opportunity tracking
- Prepare and format quotes and proposals based on information provided by external sales
- Assist with technical queries and escalate complex product or application questions as needed
- Contribute to reporting, scheduling, and other internal sales administration tasks
- Participate in ongoing product and customer service training programs
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management
- Effective multitasking in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident working with customers, internal teams, and suppliers
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred)
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
