The Role
This is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified professional or technically minded individual to step into a sales-focused role, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and technical support
- Interpreting drawings and specifications to provide accurate quotes and solutions
- Preparing estimates, proposals and pricing for custom fabrication projects
- Liaising with production to ensure jobs are delivered to scope, quality and timeline
- Building strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new opportunities
- Supporting external sales and contributing to overall business growth
- Trade qualified in Boilermaking, Sheet Metal, Welding or similar, or an engineering background
- Experience within metal manufacturing, fabrication or steel environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Previous sales/estimating experience is ideal, or a genuine desire to move off the tools
- Driven, reliable and keen to grow within a business long term
- $100K – $120K + Super
