Location: Sydney CBD (Office near Martin Place) | Hybrid Working (4 days office / 1 day WFH)
Rate: $40 - $50 per hour + Super
Duration: Casual, Project-Based Contract 2 months initial contract potentially extended to 3.
Pay Cycle: Weekly

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Junior Finance Consultant for a large-scale, time-critical contract review project. This is a fantastic opportunity for a university student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a corporate finance environment, working on a high-impact project that directly supports financial reporting and integrity.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing and validating data from approximately 8,000 resident contracts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of key financial information. This is a casual, project-based role ideal for individuals who thrive on structured tasks, have an exceptional eye for detail, and are looking for flexible work to complement their studies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review a high volume of resident contracts to identify and validate key financial and contractual data points.
- Compare and verify the accuracy of information extracted by an AI system against the original contract documents.
- Meticulously document the review process, capturing screenshots as evidence and maintaining clear audit trails.
- Identify, log, and clearly escalate any discrepancies, errors, or missing information to senior team members.
- Manage their own workload to meet daily and weekly review targets within agreed project timelines.
- Adhere strictly to defined processes, quality standards, and documentation protocols.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high levels of accuracy in repetitive, task-based work.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong written English communication skills for clear reporting of findings and issues.
- Ability to read, interpret, and cross-check information from formal documents.
- Comfort and resilience working independently with large volumes of documents.
- Basic understanding of financial or contractual terminology (training will be provided).
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or on valid Working Holiday Visa.
- A university student seeking flexible, project-based work to gain practical experience.
- Someone with prior experience in data entry, document processing, or administrative roles.
- An individual who is process-driven, organised, and can maintain focus and consistency on detailed tasks.
- A proactive team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, integrity, and the initiative to flag issues.
- An attractive casual rate of $35 - $45 per hour + Super, with weekly pay.
