Austcorp Executive are partnering with an Australian owned mining technology company that specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of bulk material handling systems. 

As a result on continued growth the business is recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the team. 

As the Lead Mechanical Engineer you would be responsible for:

• Managing a team of specialist engineers and subcontractors through a products full engineered life cycle - design, market deployment, commissioning
• Required to review and perform design, calculations, modelling, testing, technical documentation and analysis
• Maintain client relationships on active projects, advising clients and interacting with them in design and risk management decisions
• Supervise fabrication, procurement, installation, and construction work and ensure efficient standards of workmanship and work schedules are maintained
• Providing the expert knowledge bulk material handling and conveyor systems

Relevant Qualifications and skill set:

• Tertiary qualified in related discipline (Mechanical Engineering,
• 5 + years of industry experience ideally in material handling or heavy industrial/ mining
• Expert experience with AutoCAD Design & Modelling (FEA, DEM, Stress Analysis etc)
• Experience managing a team of engineers and subcontractors
