Please note for the first 2 - 4 weeks you will work on day shift as you will be given training and guidance during this time! Shift starting times for day shift can be from 6am - 10am and finish 8 - 10 hours after start time. 

Position Overview: As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality steel products. The afternoon shift generally runs from 1:30pm to 10pm. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machinery according to production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
• Current and valid forklift licence and experience operating
• Proficient in machine setup, operation, and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
