Maintenance Electrician

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced  Maintenance Electrician to join a leading food manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with hands-on fitter experience to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical and mechanical systems across a busy manufacturing site. This role requires a practical, solutions-focused individual who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production equipment
  • Support installation and commissioning of machinery
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
About You
  • Qualified Electrician with relevant licensing (A Class preferred; B Class considered)
  • Proven experience working as an Electrical Fitter or in a similar dual-skilled role
  • Background in food manufacturing or FMCG environment highly regarded
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Flexible and reliable with a proactive attitude
