Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading food manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with hands-on fitter experience to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical and mechanical systems across a busy manufacturing site. This role requires a practical, solutions-focused individual who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production equipment
- Support installation and commissioning of machinery
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
- Qualified Electrician with relevant licensing (A Class preferred; B Class considered)
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Fitter or in a similar dual-skilled role
- Background in food manufacturing or FMCG environment highly regarded
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Flexible and reliable with a proactive attitude
- Up to $60.38 an hour plus loading and overtime options.
