Maintenance Electrician – Afternoon Shift - North Melbourne + Competitive Salary + Loading + Super

We’re currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading food manufacturing operation on the Afternoon Shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established and high-performing team with a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical support across the site and respond quickly to breakdowns
• Carry out fault finding and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work meets food safety and electrical engineering standards
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse and Maintenance teams
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions for long-term improvement
• Work independently and make real-time decisions to keep operations running efficiently
• Assist with project work and inducting new team members as required
• Complete all relevant documentation to meet compliance and safety standards

What You’ll Bring:

• Current Electrical Trade Certificate with solid FMCG experience (dairy highly regarded)
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role
• Strong understanding of LOTO, JSA and GMP in food manufacturing
• Experience with PLC fault finding and CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Strong communication, documentation and computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP)
