A market-leading industrial manufacturer operating a highly automated, high-speed production facility in Ingleburn is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their afternoon shift team. This business is known for its strong safety culture, long-term job security, and ongoing investment in automation, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing technology.

This is a Monday to Friday afternoon shift role (2:00pm-10:00pm), ideal for an electrician with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys working in fast-paced production environments.

About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance, breakdown response, and automation troubleshooting across a modern manufacturing site. You will work closely with mechanical trades, production, and engineering teams to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical breakdown response and fault finding on high-speed automated machinery
  • Troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems
  • Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment
  • Electrical isolations, testing, repairs, and safety compliance checks
  • Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects
  • Accurate completion of job cards, CMMS updates, and maintenance documentation
  • Ensure all work meets WHS, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical and production teams
About You
  • Trade-qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence
  • Background in industrial manufacturing, packaging, food, or automated environments
  • Strong electrical fault-finding capability on PLC-controlled machinery
  • Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs highly regarded
  • Solid understanding of isolations, lockout procedures, and safety systems
  • Able to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary maintenance team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • CMMS experience preferred
