The Company:
With offices Nationally and Overseas, my client is a market leader in water treatment solutions in the industrial and mining sectors. Due to growth, they now require the assistance of a Maintenance Engineer based in Western Melbourne Suburbs.
  
The Role:
  • Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
    • Hands on maintenance of pumps and scrubbers, heat exchanges and fluid transfer equipment.
    • Taking samples for routine and troubleshooting analysis and for performing routine and non-routine maintenance
    • Periodic inspections and replacement of worn catalyst, analyser reagents, various sensors, or mechanical parts.
    • Investigating problems and then fixing them, such as leaks, failure to meet feed or product specifications, mechanical failures of valves, pumps, compressors, sensors, etc
    • Ensure a Safe working environment at all times.
    • Supporting the engineering team.
The Candidate:
  • Must have a Chemical Engineering qualification
  • 3-5 years’ experience out on the field - In any Industry 
  • An understanding of Pumps and Chemical processing
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills
  • Self-motivated attitude with ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Commitment to learning with a "can do" approach to challenges
  • A desire to be a member of a "hands on" team.
