Maintenance Fitter – Day Shift | Tamworth | Very Competitive Salary

We are currently seeking a trade-qualified, multi-skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a high-performing manufacturing facility in Tamworth. This is a day shift role offering a very competitive salary and the opportunity to be part of a supportive, safety-focused, and inclusive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment
  • Carry out both scheduled and time-critical breakdown maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and safety management practices
  • Assist with maintenance planning to reduce downtime and meet production targets
  • Work with computer-based maintenance systems (experience highly regarded)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Maintenance Department
What You’ll Need:
  • Mechanical trade qualification (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and maintenance KPIs
  • Good computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate clearly with production teams
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Current driver’s licence and forklift (HRW) licence
  • Boiler license (preferred but not essential)
