Maintenance Fitter - Rotating Day/Night Shifts Casual to Perm | Major Food Manufacturer - Lara (VIC) Rotating 8-Hour Shifts | 5 Days/Week
Join one of Australia's leading food manufacturers at their high-performing Lara site! We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to support site reliability across rotating day and night shifts. This is a casual position with a pathway to full-time employment after 6 months for the right person.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform breakdown repairs and planned preventative maintenance
• Ensure safe and efficient operations across a range of manufacturing equipment
• Identify and implement plant improvements and reliability solutions
• Install and test machine enhancements in line with product specifications
• Support production targets by minimising downtime
• Accurately record work using CMMS

What We're Looking For:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
• At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment
• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and breakdown repair skills
• Exposure to PLCs and variable speed drives
• A safety-first mindset with strong communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office & CMMS systems)
• Current Driver's Licence and HRW Forklift Licence
