An industry-leading manufacturer with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their well-established site in Ingleburn. This business operates at scale, invests heavily in its people and equipment, and offers long-term stability within a highly automated manufacturing environment.
This is a Monday to Friday, day shift role (6:00am–2:00pm), ideal for a hands-on fitter looking for consistent hours and career development.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the mechanical reliability of plant and production equipment, working closely with electrical and production teams to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the mechanical reliability of plant and production equipment, working closely with electrical and production teams to minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical maintenance, repairs, and breakdown response across production equipment
- Preventative maintenance to improve plant reliability and uptime
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning
- Work collaboratively with electricians and production teams on fault diagnosis
- PLC fault finding and basic programming troubleshooting exposure
- Accurate completion of job cards, CMMS updates, and maintenance records
- Adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Participation in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Technician
- Background in industrial manufacturing, packaging, food, or automated environments
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and working alongside automation systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, continuous production environment
- Proactive, safety-focused, and a strong communicator
- CMMS experience preferred
