We are partnering with a well-established production facility within the building products sector, currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join their team.

This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, focused on preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and smooth production output.

Experience from building products, FMCG, food manufacturing, plastics, packaging or similar high-speed, batching and mixing production environments will be highly regarded.

The Role

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across production machinery
• Fault find on mechanical systems including conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime
• Work collaboratively with production and electrical teams

About You

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Experience within manufacturing or production environments
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working either day shift or night shift
