We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Western Sydney. This is a permanent opportunity offering a stable day shift (6:00am – 2:00pm) with a strong team culture and consistent production environment.

The Role Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring plant and equipment operate efficiently to support production targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Attending breakdowns and minimising downtime
• Performing preventative and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding on mechanical equipment across production lines
• Working on conveyors, packaging machinery, gearboxes, pumps, and motors
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality standards

 
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
• Experience within food or FMCG manufacturing (highly regarded)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• A proactive and reliable attitude
