Our client is a well-established steel manufacturing and fabrication business based in Beenleigh, seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their afternoon shift team.

Shift Times

• Monday – Thursday: 1:00pm – 9:35pm
• Friday: 1:00pm – 6:30pm

This is a hands-on role supporting a busy manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on safety, preventative maintenance, and breakdown response.

About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Preventative maintenance across steel manufacturing equipment
• Attending breakdowns and fault-finding in a production environment
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with safety procedures and site standards
• Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability

Skills & Experience

• Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in manufacturing
• Solid understanding of preventative maintenance and breakdown repair
• Basic machining and fabrication skills
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices
• Reliable, team-focused, and accountable approach to work
