Maintenance Fitter - Multiple Shifts

Are you a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment?
We are working with a leading food manufacturer in West Sydney seeking experienced Fitters to join their maintenance team across afternoon and night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-invested site focused on reliability and continuous improvement.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Mechanical fault-finding and breakdown repairs on production equipment
• Planned preventative maintenance across processing and packaging lines
• Installation, upgrades and modifications to plant and machinery
• Supporting site reliability and minimising downtime
• Working closely with production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Trade qualified Fitter / Mechanical Trade Certificate (essential)
• Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments preferred
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience working on automated production and packaging equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work afternoon or night shifts
