About the Role We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at our busy manufacturing site. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for keeping plant and equipment running at peak performance, reducing downtime, and building a strong preventative maintenance culture.
You’ll manage a skilled team of trades and technicians, oversee contractors, and work closely with production and operations to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.

You’ll manage a skilled team of trades and technicians, oversee contractors, and work closely with production and operations to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the maintenance team
- Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and minimise downtime
- Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Oversee CMMS use, schedules, and asset management
- Manage contractor performance and compliance
- Partner with production and operations to align priorities
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance
- Support capital planning and improvement projects
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor in manufacturing
- Strong technical knowledge across plant and equipment maintenance
- Familiar with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
- Skilled at leading and motivating teams
- Strong problem-solving ability and practical execution focus
- Contractor management and WHS compliance experience
- Background in plastics, polymers, packaging, or FMCG (desirable)
- Key leadership role in a respected national manufacturer
