Job description

The Company

With major investment underway, the business is focused on strengthening reliability, driving innovation, and setting up for its next stage of growth.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a proven Maintenance Manager to take ownership of a high-volume site running 24/7. This is more than keeping the lights on — it’s about building a truly preventative maintenance culture, driving operational discipline, and positioning the site for long-term efficiency and performance.
You’ll lead from the front, coaching a skilled trades team, embedding best practice systems, and ensuring equipment is operating at its absolute best. With strong leadership support and capital investment on the table, you’ll have the platform to make a measurable difference.
What You’ll Do
  • Take full ownership of the maintenance function in a fast-paced, around-the-clock operation
  • Shift the team’s mindset from reactive repairs to proactive and predictive maintenance
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to extend equipment life and reduce downtime
  • Guide and motivate a team of trades and contractors to achieve operational excellence
  • Partner with production to ensure alignment and delivery of site-wide objectives
  • Lead projects that modernise, upgrade, and future-proof the site
  • Enforce the highest safety standards and compliance at all times
What You Bring
  • Demonstrated experience managing maintenance in a 24/7 industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Track record of driving preventative maintenance strategies and improving reliability
  • Strong technical expertise in plant/equipment maintenance and CMMS systems
  • Inspirational leadership style with the ability to engage and upskill teams
  • Sound contractor management, WHS knowledge, and hands-on problem-solving ability
  • Industry background in FMCG, plastics, packaging, or similar environments highly regarded
What’s in It for You
  • High-impact role in a nationally recognised manufacturing business
  • The chance to lead cultural and operational change, not just day-to-day maintenance
  • Competitive salary + super + bonus structure
  • A business in growth mode with genuine career opportunities
