Job tasks and responsibilities:
An exciting opportunity is available now for an experienced and passionate Maintenance Planner, based at our production facility near Tottenham, Victoria 3012. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and plan engineering maintenance activities utilising the MEX CMMS system
- Drive scheduled predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance
- Prepare schedules for internal staff and external contractors, using the current computerised maintenance system
- Work with the Maintenance Manager and Production to schedule labour and resources for effective production and maintenance outcomes
- Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
We are seeking someone who is hands-on and will enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-based environment:
- Experience as a maintenance planner with 2 years experience
- SAP experience is a must
- Ideally, experience working in a complex food manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Understanding of the requirements of Health and Safety Regulations/legislation directly relating to Engineering
- An analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making
- Thorough understanding of good manufacturing practice
