Maintenance Stores Coordinator – FMCG / Manufacturing

Location: Kilcoy (approx. 1-hour drive to the Sunshine Coast)
Salary: Competitive 
Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shift

About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, organised Maintenance Stores Coordinator to manage the daily operations of a fast-paced maintenance storeroom within a leading manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for overseeing spare parts, equipment, and materials to ensure the Maintenance and Engineering teams have everything they need to keep production running efficiently.

This role is open to local applicants and candidates looking to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain stock control of all maintenance spare parts, consumables, and equipment
• Accurately receipt and issue materials, ensuring correct documentation and timely invoice reconciliation
• Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, and Facilities teams to coordinate supply needs
• Maintain optimal stock levels while managing costs and supplier lead times
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight
• Ensure store areas are clean, safe, compliant, and well-organised
• Escalate risks, compliance issues, or supply challenges to the Facilities Manager when required
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Maintenance and Stores function

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in maintenance stores, inventory control, or spare parts coordination (ideally manufacturing or FMCG)
• Forklift licence – essential
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport – required
• Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., MEX) – desirable
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Confident communicator who works well with Maintenance and Engineering teams
• Solid understanding of WHS and compliance
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of daily store operations
