About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on and organised Maintenance Stores Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy maintenance storeroom within a leading manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in managing spare parts, equipment, and materials to support the Maintenance and Engineering teams, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain stock control of all maintenance spare parts, equipment, and consumables
- Accurately receipt and issue materials, ensuring proper documentation and timely reconciliation of invoices
- Liaise closely with Maintenance, Purchasing, Facilities, and Engineering teams to coordinate supply requirements
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels while minimising costs and lead times
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised store areas in line with WHS standards
- Escalate risks, compliance issues, or supply challenges to the Facilities Manager as required
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Maintenance and Stores function
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance stores, inventory, or spare parts coordination role (ideally within manufacturing or FMCG)
- Forklift licence – essential
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle – required
- Experience using a CMMS such as MEX – desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator who works well with maintenance and engineering teams
- Sound understanding of WHS and compliance procedures
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily store operations
