This growing organisation operates within the Facilities Management and Built Environment sector. Supporting a growth program, this role will oversee a mix of internal teams and contractors undertaking Electrical, Plumbing, Painting / Decorating, Glazier, Carpentry maintenance and minor works activities across multiple residential premises.

Base Criteria
Qualified in a Building Trade or Electrical / Plumbing and 5+ years Building Maintenance and Minor Works supervisory experience within Aged Care, Defence or Mine Camps.

Outline Duties
Support and manage the efficient and effective delivery of multiple day-to-day planned maintenance, minor works, or first fix / repairs across a large portfolio in accordance with the Building Code of Australia, Statutory Compliance, and Industry Best Practice.

You will provide key leadership and direction to direct trades and sub-contractors.

Skills and Attributes
  • Over 5 years industry experience, you will have gained at least 3 years Maintenance Supervisory experience within an organisation delivering Maintenance or Minor Works projects to a mix of multi-site premises.
  • You will have excellent Maintenance Supervisory skills, able to undertake site walk-rounds and reviewing maintenance work undertaken to ensure it meets client specifications, inspecting any repeat work and minor works, allocate and sign off maintenance and repair jobs, manage direct staff, and arrange contractors where required
  • An excellent communicator, with strong English language skills, you will provide clear and concise instructions, management and direction to direct trades and contractors; while liaising internally at Regional Manager level.
  • Engaging personality and strong presentation skills.
